makeHERspace (All Day & Night, 'til 7am Fri.)

Every other Thursday, MakeHERspace takes over and X-Hain becomes a FLINTA-only space for the entire day, from noon to 7am the next day.

The mission of MakeHERspace is to turn X-Hain into a comfortable, safe space for women, and other members of the FLINTA community, free from masculine energy and attitudes.

FLINTA means Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-Binary, Transgender, and Agender. Sometimes this is referred to as ABCD; “All But Cis Dudes”.

Our management includes cis and trans women, and our membership includes and enthusiastically welcomes most flavors of FLINTA, including a large number of trans women. People who object to that are not welcome (No TERFs).

If necessary men can grab/drop off urgent works and quickly leave the space with a low profile.
